It’s odd that they don’t in America. In the England and Wales it’s common for people in authority to be subject to greater sentences.

@Brad84L I’ve not noticed a bias, he presents both sides of the legal argument based on the written law and precedent. Greetings from the UK.

@CMoney72 triggered by a perceived insult aimed at conservatives seems a pretty conservative response. But then I’m European, and most of you Americans are pretty rabid conservatives by our standards.

It could be just to create a more solid precedent. The higher the court, the stronger the stronger precedent. Unless it’s Roe Vs Wade

@thatjeff7550 that horrible Iilluminaughtii threatened it. Then Devon sent a response.

@badtoothbeetroot have you not seen the Trump lawyer tier list video, or any other videos involving a trump Lawyer? 😂. He’s pretty scathing of them.

Tankies didn’t need money to side with Russia in the UK.

Devan sounds properly pissed in this video. Understandably so, good luck in the Lawsuit!

You elect way too many positions that are government employees in the rest of the world. Who the eff thinks electing tax collectors is a good idea because of the conflict of interest it generates? Only America.

@mikestiles373 a constitutional republic is a form of democracy. It is not the only type of democracy though, in the same way a German shepherd isn’t the only type of dog. Hope that helps.

Why do you think it’s lies?

@mermaidismyname that’s the point of a trial. In the UK the Prosecutors measure the case against standards (points to prove and procedural details) to see if it’s fit to go to trial. It seems odd to to require judgement of peers twice, especially if one is heavily biased in favour of the prosecution and results in a kinda maybe guilty result.

Argh, don’t get me started on comas, or worse the semicolon....

@topogigio7031 D&D is ruined because of corporate greed and incompetence. It has zero to do with Zoomers.

@Greengoblin420-69 Yes, britain was involved in the slave trade like all other nations, but for Britain it was a fairly short period of time. You do realise it’s only due to the Brits that slavery was abolished? Due mainly to the fact William the Conqueror outlawed the practice and it stayed illegal in England ever since. Britain literally had the Royal Navy going around freeing slaves and blockading countries who didn’t stop the practice.

Yeah, it’s definitely a good part of the system, as is being able to recover legal fees which Devon has said in the past he thinks is a good system. Odd a lot of the unrelatedly comments here. Lots of whataboutisum.
