People pay to get there kids beaten at private school because, it did them no harm. Rory seems to not understand this topic, nor the advancement in educational over the 1800s approach. It’s the experts, not the portents that have driven this.

Regarding the Supreme Court in the US, the perception of rampant corruption is a key factor. The level of dark money that is thought by opponents to fund decisions is obscene. The other elephant in the room is the federalist society that the organisation that selected the three trump justices. This is an extremely right wing evangelist organisation. While some seem balanced and competent, others have been classified by the American Bar Association as not competent. Finally, with Coney Barrett, Trump ignored the convention to not appoint justices after losing the public vote. Obama had followed convention and left the vacant position filled by Neil Gorsuch.

Still pushing the neoliberalism that died in 2008? Benching cut a lot of lines that were needed using a frankly, laughably dishonest study. Infrastructure doesn’t need to be profitable to be necessary. It’s an investment in capability to provide growth. When will you learn that not everything needs to be profitable.

They won’t, it undermines the centrist neoliberalism they promote, though I hope i am are wrong. I’d rather have Stephen Keen or Richard Murphy though.
