  1. NIMBY areas are often areas with infrastructure and services at breaking point 🤷‍♂️. An example near me were a developer trying to build on a flood plain that was objected to by the EA and the local power station as it would likely cause flooding of the power plant, and the sewage works which is next to a river that supplies 7% of the water london. Any concern gets chalked up as being nimby, some are, but many aren’t.
