He’s not a member of the Labour Party. The police are responsible for investigating crime, it shouldn’t be politically motivated. Maybe report it as a crime to Essex Police if you feel strongly?

@nathanaelsmith3553 there are laws to prosecute this (unless said in the chamber or a select committee where parliamentary privilege is absolute), unfortunately it’s fundamentally a hard thing to prove as you need to demonstrate the mental intent, which basically needs a confession, or an unambiguous pile of other evidence proving guilt.
