Building a false narrative it took only a few minutes to find red flags in her claims. According to Simone Barron co-founder of Full Service Workers Alliance, she worked at Tanakasan for the last five years and they are closing according to her single factor analysis it's due to minimum wage increases. Tanakasan was owned by Tom Douglas Seattle Kitchen who is not renewing their leases and will close three stores. "Meanwhile, this announcement comes after an up-and-down year for Douglas. The chef recently expanded his brand to New York for the first time, opening two restaurants in the city’s much heralded Nordstrom flagship store. Then, earlier this month, Douglas settled a $2.4 million class action lawsuit with former and current employees, regarding alleged improper disclosure for service charge fees. But a rep for Douglas says “the closure is not related to the lawsuit,” adding, “unfortunately, the Via6 businesses were not financially viable concepts for us and we felt it best for the health of the company as a whole to refocus our efforts on our other properties.”"
Why is it that Fox business reporting inescapable of reporting in full context what took me only minutes to add to their narrative building? Maybe someone can find some context to refute what I've found, until then I wouldn't believe her or this right wing media propaganda show.
