  2. We had a 11 year decline in southern border crossing to the lowest point in 50 years prior to Trump and his polices. By 2019 Trumps policies doubled the number of people crossing the southern border to 977,000. He only saw a reduction for the first 9 months of 2020 due to covid, before it went back to a 20 year monthly high in October of 2020. It has remained a 20 year high and increasing ever since under Trumps failed policies and Title 42.

  3.  @PR1962-o4w  rhe bill had the legal authority to close the border, if border exceeds 5000 per day for a 7 day period not 365 days per year. It also has cut offs a lower ranges thst can be in acted by DHS. Current law has no cap at all. None of you have any clue what our laws are or what the senate bill would do.

  4. Not to mention the fact that border crossing were at a 50 year low when low informed "Republicans" were screaming for a wall. And why fiscally responsible republicans that held majorities in congress when Trump took office refused to vote on that funding. Trump himself blamed Paul Ryan the ex Speaker and future of the conservative party.
