  3. Title 42 had no enforcement, immigrants were placed in expedited removal free to recross the border multiple tiles without penalty. With title 42 removed we go back to following our title 8 enforcement. Title 8 has stricter penalties for those who recross after deportations. That means fewer crossing between check points, but the removal of title 42 also means we are back to enforcing our existing asylum laws under 8 USC 1158. That is what the Right is against and why the right has been trying to undermine our enforcement laws for the last 5 years.
