It does side step those title 8 laws and why the Right wants to use it to undermine asylum, but that also removes the ability to enforce deterrents in title 8. By 2019 Trumps policies doubled the number of people crossing the southern border to 977,000 a 20 year high. He only saw a reduction for the first 9 months of 2020 due to covid, before it went back to a 20 year monthly high in October of 2020. It has remained a 20 year high and increasing ever since under Trumps failed policies and Title 42....

@DarkStar-wu9nq Yes Title 42 was creaeted years ago, and forced into place by the Trump administration against CDC push back. It was to end last year yet Repubicans have been fighting in court to keep it in place. Biden is continuing to use it becasue Republicans are forcing him to keep it in place. These expansions you claim were changes to that public order, that allow for minor children and asylum seekers from a few countries to be excempt from th order, there was no increase in use under Biden. Stop making your own facts to fit a false narrative you want to believe.
