We needed fixes to our visa program, more immigration courts, and electronic surveillance. Just as the left and moderate Republicans were saying during Trumps election. Trump and republicans then created a crisis by unilaterally undermining our immigration laws and dismantling the process that was working.The low informed right still don't have any clue what is going on or what we need.

That 80 billion would include spending over the past 20 years to build up the Afghan security forces. How was the afghan security going to use this equipment to battle the Taliban if we had taken it all back from them? When in history has a retreating army not left equipment to who was left to occupy the territory? What would have been the cost to remove all of this equipment. Why was there no effort to start removal or any plans made at all for the draw back, after Trumps surrender in February of 2020?
