  1. Trumps policies were in violation of US immigration law. The separation under Trump are what is causing an increase in unaccompanied minors coming to the border.

  3. This clip was released February 18 2017 before Trumps policies. At that point in time we were at the lowest southern border apprehensions rate in 50 years after a 17 year decline. Border apprehensions increased in 2018 under Trump to 500k. Then in 2019 Trumps surge took us to 977k. After two years in office his policies were failing. By 2020 we had covid and title 42 to decrease immigration. By October those apprehensions went from 58k to 72k. That is when this current surge began. We saw the highest crossing rate during 2020 winter months then we have for 20 years for those months. Biden was gifted this mess from Trump. And the wall was a rally call and not real border security.
