Border crossings were at a record low when Trump came into office. He waited a year before creating his border policies in 2018. By 2019 border crossings doubled. He saw a reduction in border crossings for the first 9 months of 2020, before going back to record highs in October, November, December, and January when Trump claimed in the debate the border was fine on January 6th, (but some how at record levels by the time Biden took office i at the end of January). No wars yet took credit for defeating ISIS, only after continuing with Obama's plans and Trump just removing the rules of engagement against civilians.

He was handed a good economy that he tried to stimulate with a tax cut. that resulted in companies just buying back more shares and increased deficits. covid hit and was poorly managed and ended up simulating the economy by putting cash back into local communities were people were not spending. This caused inflation to increase, as reported would happen at the time the money was allocated, by every economist.

Federal government fiscal calendar year is from 10/1-09/30. The sitting president always passes his last budget, before the new president is elected. Giving the new president time to put together his budget for the following year. The new president can add things that can add to the deficit, but it's usually from the yearly budget. Tgis is how you become an informed voter and jot a puppet.
