Comments by "Scott Farner" (@scottfarner5100) on "McCarthy rips Pelosi for holding up relief bill while millions lost jobs" video.
If airlines and cruise lines need funding they need to close. Republicans are hypocrites.

In that short clip Trump was taking credit for what Dems add to the bill.
3
But now it's time to build up a false narrative and build new talking points to give credit to Trump. While acting completely different then they did when Obama passed a stimulus bill.

@r.mcnally1665 The arts employ 5 million people and no one is buying tickets. The airlines have spent most of their revenue over the past decade on executive bonuses and stock buybacks. Cruise lines have head quarters over seas and pay no taxes. But the right complains about a bailout to the arts because you don't notice the workers behind it.
2
@r.mcnally1665 this is an economic stimulus bill and those workers and the industry should be protected like any other including the airline workers. It's just directed funding with the same restriction as the corporate restrictions placed by Democrats. And it's not just 25 million for the Kennedy Center they took the 25 million from the 100 million that was going to the national endowment of the arts. It's ok we can pay for it by eliminating money we give to oil companies.
2
@boggsanonymous1787 Trump was taking credit for the change in unemployment from 3 to 4 months. That was all democrats.
2
Dems held out for provisions to restrict stock buyouts and executive pay.

Yep it's a victory she helped make and yep Obama left trump a good economy and trump did very little to improve on it. And both are easy to prove.

@soulman.9835 Hows that 3 trillion dollar deficit looking. No one is admitting he is handling this disaster well except for the sycophants on the right. Cutting of the "red tape" and tax cuts gave short term stimulus and some growth to an economy that was already trending up, but it doubled the deficit and the growth was hardly anything to brag about when looking at the total US economy as a whole. Increases in Obama's last three years were far better then the first three years of Trump, you can see it in the data. Taxes will have to increase to remove the extra 2 trillion from this new stimulus. Let me remind you of how much the right complained about Obama's stimulus. the reaction from Ingraham in this video was completely flip. I'm sure some time in the next few years you will be blaming the next Democrat president for this deficit created under Trump just like when Obama came into office.
1
@soulman.9835 Depends on how you calculate a Presidents debt. An informed voter would only calculate debt from policies that President signed into law. For example the federal governments fiscal year end is on September 30th. That means when Presidents change most of that first years debt is from the previous administration, so I would not calculate the 586 billion in deficit to Trump for that year, only the 80 billion he added. If you look at policies passed by Obama the debt he is responsible for was about 2.8 trillion. Most of that came from stimulus and tax cuts the next big amount was military and national security. You're sure learning a lot of context tonight, next?
1
@soulman.9835 Lets say hypothetically. If Trump signs this stimulus into law it adds 2 trillion to the already 1 trillion deficit for this year. And if a Democrat wins the election next year, is that new President responsible for the 3 trillion Trump signed into law? That is whet you're doing to Obama.
1
@soulman.9835 bla bla bla, never ending deflection into your bias opinion.
1
@soulman.9835 Just tired of you deflecting off topic for an eternity until you find something that you are actually informed about.
1
No that not even close to what happened.
1
It did.

@reginam3331 who do you think works at the Kennedy Center Americans in the arts. Who is buying tickets to the theater, ballot, and opera. No one. You're trained like a parrot to complain about funding for those workers. And say nothing about funding for airlines that spend most of revenue on stock buybacks and executive bonuses over the past ten years and say nothing about funding to cruise lines that have headquartered over seas to avoid paying taxes.
1
They didn't that's fake news
1
@kathyfewell1541 my god you people on the right are just clueless and hypocritical
1
@kathyfewell1541 I got it from looking at the facts for the past week and not a right wing narrative of complete BS. I get it from looking at what the Kennedy Center is receiving that the right doesn't support and what other corporate entities, the airlines, and cruise lines are getting that the right does support and asking whats the difference other then the narrative being built by the media?
1
They just did you a favor and you have no clue.
1
They employ people who support the economy and no one is buying tickets due to the virus.
1
@jackdaniel5229 Do you think those in the performing arts are paid as much as NBA players. I have no problem with them paying for individuals that work in NBA concessions or in administration. One thing is for sure is that democrats are more concerned for all American workers.
1
Repeating a stupid meme doesn't make it sound more intelligent.
1
This was an economic stimulus bill. The arts have 5 million workers and no one is buying tickets with the virus.
1
You're welcome to fact check her yourself. You might actually learn some facts you don't know in the process.
1
Nimue prove it, where is the abortion funding on the bill?
1
@LoneStarCowboy1 BS Republicans wanted language in the bill that none of the money was to be used to fund abortions. There was nothing but fake news about Dems wanting abortion added. And you believed it because you're gullible.
1
@shawnhudson6868 He's right, it's not hard to prove if you get out of your misinformation media bubble.
1
When did she make that comment?
1
Workers an the Kennedy Center are Americans.
1
So they will get unemployment and a bonus on top of it.
1
@BeachJedi101 They get also an additional $600 per week on top of the state unemployment rate and the 1200.
