When The border was in the same condition under Trump did we have an open border policy? When border crossings doubled by Trumps second year was that due to an open border policy. And I'm aware of him sending immigrants to US border Patrol detainment centers to go through a vetting process of asylum seekers, but I'm unaware of any reports that he was moving forcing them into Canada to apply for asylum. I read that immigrants who were already here that fled to Canadian out 8f fear of deportation.
