Other then the policy to force asylum seekers to first request asylum in Mexico, Biden is following the laws put in place by congress that have been their for 40 years. Congress needs to provide funding for more agents and Republicans need to stop trying to deny asylum to those who need it and undermining the law that caused this back log. Trump and republicans are only talking about the same failed policies that caused this. The real issue is the overwhelming number coming. There is not a thing Trump can do differently other then violate more laws, because congress will not act on this.
