We have asylum laws and title 42 is still in place to undermine that law. Open borders is a right wing talking point for their lack of support of our asylum laws.

  9.  @azcharmer  we had a 17 year decline in southern border crossings to the lowest point in 50 years prior to Trump and his policies that violated immigration laws. Within two years he doubled the number 9f people crossing to 977000 in 2019. He only had a reduction for the first 9 months of 2020 due to Covid. By October of 2020 we were back to a 20 year monthly high. It has remained and growing ever since. Biden is just following laws that were working before Trump, but title 42 and remain in Mexico did a lot of damage to that legal process.

The Right is pushing a narrative while refusing to teach the base our immigration laws, and then triggers you with daily clips that show the legal process while they tell you other wise.

Biden is required by law to transport unaccompanied minors out of border patrol hands and into our asylum process. Biden is required by law to process legal asylum seekers and process those who are picked up at the border and being deported under title 42 restrictions. The rights wing media and leadership are triggering the base because it's election season. Read the law.
