  9.  @juniorstory7216  Obama by law has to have temporary detainment for those unaccompanied children and they are to be moved to family services within 72 hours. This is true with all president. Trumps issue was the separation policy is it violated US law and it caused a larger problem with overcrowding and meeting that 72 hour goal. This is why children are flown into cities in the middle of the night, under all presidents not just Biden as the Right reported. The media lost the message on both sides when the picture of kids that was false became the story and a good way for Right wing media to bury what Trump was doing.

Federal courts stopped that in east bay sanctuary vs Trump, 3 years ago. We are being sued by those legal asylum seekers. Biden is seeking a settlement at a lower rate to taxpayers. No one knows were this amount being reported is coming from. It is assumed that is part of the false narrative the Right wing media is building. Now you know more facts about the border than your media has reported in a decade.

With in two years Trumps policies doubled that number to 977000 crossings in 2019. The only reduction came from covid. And title 42 in the first half year of 2020. The surge began in October of 2020 and continued to grow.

Federal courts reversed that policy three years ago. They are suing US tax payers. Biden is trying to settle at a lower rate for tax payers. The amount of money the Right is reporting is not veritable and is probably as wrong a as the rest of the false reporting from the Right.

These are legal asylum seekers that were charged with a crime and separated from their children due to Trumps zero tolerance policy that violated US immigration law.
