I've seen no evidence of any country in this hemisphere that it applies to except Canada and the US. As the law clearly states it requires a bilateral agreement. Federal judge appointed by Trump stopped the use of that exception under Trump, another federal court stopped Biden from using that exception this last summer. From 2020- mid 2023, title 8 authority was mostly suspended under title 42, including this exception under title 8 USC 1158.

@deejo2 If they do not qualified under our process then they are deported. The Right keeping everyone from requesting asylum because you feel a few do not qualify is not how our laws work. The Right does not get to decide what laws to follow and what laws to ignore. There are no 8-10 million illegals. The Right wants to count every apprehension under Biden as if they stayed here. We were under title 42 from 2020 to mid 2023, that means anyone who did not qualify for asylum under title 42 was placed in expedited removal .
