He answered the questions. You don't have the ability to understand the answer.

Title 42 suspended title 8 laws and authority use to deter and penalize illegal border crossing. The Right was using it to undermine legal asylum under 8 US code 1158. It also suspended 8 US code 1325; the misdemeanor that carries a civil penalty for crossing the border illegally. And 8 US code 1326; stiffer penalties for crossing the border after deportation That left out any legal penalty or deterrent for those crossing and stopped legal asylum, with few exceptions under title 42. Makes it difficult to enforce immigration laws when Republicans are fighting in court to undermine our legal enforcement. With title 42 suspending enforcement many immigrants re-crossed multiple times causing apprehension numbers to be inflated. The current rate of multiple returns was about 40% of border crossers. We had a 11 year decline in southern border crossing to the lowest point in 50 years prior to Trump and his polices. By 2019 Trumps policies doubled the number of people crossing the southern border to 977,000. He only saw a reduction for the first 9 months of 2020 due to covid, before it went back to a 20 year monthly high in October of 2020. It has remained a 20 year high and increasing ever since under Trumps failed policies and Title 42.

@thefinerbs7157 because it's a stupid question usedto build a false narrative. If the GOP cared about border security, they wouldn't have screwed it up as much as they did while they transfer blame for their failed policies. I don't expect you to have any clue about what is going on and you sure don't know what a show trial looks. like.

Sounds like he answered every every question. Just didn't give the answer you wanted.

@wolveslair766 I don't know I have not spoken with all of them to know what all of their claims are or if they are valid or not. Neither has anyone on the Right, yet the Right assums all their claims are invalid before reaching the border. All these assumptions and overplayed rhetoric from the Right doesn't change our laws, and it's why we gave those laws, so our government is not run by Right wing rhetoric as it was under Trump who was unilaterally undermining our laws to fit Right wing agenda to stop legal asylum.
1
@crissynunyabznz it's called context the Right doesn't want to hear, that fill in the holes and corrects the misinformation in Right wing question and claims.
1
@crissynunyabznz please explain in detail how this is from Dems mistakes. I'll wait.

cynthiasmith5367 §1158. Asylum (a) Authority to apply for asylum (1) In general Any alien who is physically present in the United States or who arrives in the United States (whether or not at a designated port of arrival and including an alien who is brought to the United States after having been interdicted in international or United States waters), irrespective of such alien's status, may apply for asylum in accordance with this section or, where applicable, section 1225(b) of this title...

@bwelmhouse1 What question did he not answer what time stamp?
1
@bwelmhouse1 They ask BS questions to build false narratives to feed to the Right wing base. Mayorkas job is not to manipulate the right wing base. Is he supposed to know the back story of gotaways any more then any previous administration?
1
@bwelmhouse1 then name a question that he did not answer that was not asked to build a false narrative or a sound bite by the lying Right.
1
@bwelmhouse1 funny how I heard the first question just now and it was answered. So was the second. And third. And forth question. And the multi-question. Then he asks a bunch of BS questions about got aways that he's not going to have. Stop lying just because he's never going to say what you want to believe and that is the false narrative your puppet masters fed you.
1
@bwelmhouse1 then you are not paying attention to the answer or you are incapable of understanding the answer he is goving. All you want is for him to reinforce the false narrative your puppet masters feed you.

@candybailes2044 What specific question did you feel that were not answered in this hearing, to build false narratives for congress to transfer blame for their inaction and failed GOP policies. @candybailes2044 in other words you are to low informed to understand his statements, because you can't be specific as to what he said thst you can prove is wrong. Immigrants have a legal right to cross our borders at any point and request Asylum without penalty. The Right feel that law is a loophole and the Right felt justified in ignoring the law. That action caused this crisis that they now want to blame Biden for, because he has to follow the law and allow them through the legal process that the Right refuse to fix through congress.
1
Yes the amount of lies told by the Right is unwatchable.
1
Does that include Trump ad Republicans in congress or just Democrats, who you think are violating the constitution because your puppet masters say so?
1
Anthony-jb3oi Under Article II of the Constitution, the President is responsible for the execution and enforcement of the laws created by Congress. Fifteen executive departments — each led by an appointed member of the President's Cabinet — carry out the day-to-day administration of the federal government.
1
Anthony-jb3oi Learn our immigration laws passed by congress. You will find that Trump was in violation of those laws and Biden is following them.
1
So does the GOP members who caused this.
