@mikeanderson3588 asylum seekers can cross at any point along the border. They are not required to use a port of entry as long as they seek out a border agent and make the request. Trump and the Right want to assume all claims of asylum are invalid before they reach the border to make the request.

@mikeanderson3588 stop assuming you know the law when we both know you've never read it. Us code 1158, article 31 of the Geneva, convention and Easy Bay Sanctuary vs Trump. All clearly define Trumps border policy as a violation of our INA laws. They do not have to use a port of entry, educate yourself. Crossing the border illegally for a non asylum seeker is still only a civil penalty for the first offense, but Trump charged them all with a crime and separated children until it was stopped in federal court and Trump wrote an executive order to keep families together after he lost in appeal.

@mikeanderson3588 what's stupid as duck is the Right nor knowing the Trump administration having these same policies like flying immigrants in the middle of the night. Or that the $450k settlement was sue to Trumps policy.
