The right do not like part of that law title 8 USC 1158. That is our asylum law, what your puppet masters call an open border policy. It gives an immigrant a legal right to cross our border at any point and request asylum. Then if they pass a creditable fear interview for asylum they are to be detained in the US, title 8 USC 1225. That is what the Right calls catch and release from your puppet masters. Our constitution has many parts that are designed solely for US citizens. The 14th amendment clearly shows that everyone has equal protection of our laws within a jurisdiction, not by citizenship alone. So yes they were designed fro immigrants and asylum seekers that are not US citizens. How do you think we have the same protections for visa holders here legally?
