  1. Your correct that the problem has been around for a while, but wrong on the facts. Under Bush jr and Obama we had a 17 year decline in southern border crossing to the lowest point in 50 years, prior to Trump and his failed policies. Trump policies doubled the number of those crossing the southern border to 977,000 in 2019. it only was reduced for the first 9 months in 2020 before going up again to a 20 year high in October of 2020, and it has remained growing ever since. Obama was detaining children due to the law. Trump was violating US code1158 and criminalizing legal asylum and separating children. Federal courts stopped it. That is the fight. The Right wants to undermine asylum laws and the left is following the law. Trump was also moving immigrants to cities in the middle of the night in May of 2019, it's due to the law and the same for Biden. America is fine just stop listening to the Right.

  2.  @jays4225  what was broken? We had a 17 year decrease in southern border crossings to a 50 year low. Before Trump. Both parties in Congress were in agreement as to what was needed for border security until Trump and the far Rights rally call for a wall.
