  16.  @kerrryschultz2904  The first country exception is embedded in title 8 usc 1158. It has certain requirements for a country to qualify. I've seen no evidence of any country in this hemisphere that it applies to except Canada and the US. Federal judge appointed by Trump stopped the use of that exception under Trump, another federal court stopped Biden from using that exception this last summer. From 2020- mid 2023, title 8 authority was mostly suspended under title 42, including this exception under title 8 USC 1158. Kennedy knows this yet keeps pushing the Biden administration to ignore the courts ruling and use it and let the courts fight it out again. Mayorkis explained that it had been adjuticated during the Trump administration and they could not use it. That was before Mayorkas and Biden placed it in their new immgratin polciy that courst stopped in summer of 2023. Kennedy keeps pushing that narrative to use the executive to ignore and undermine our immigraion laws. That is how this started.

Name the court case specific that you are speaking about that turned over a biden immigration policy. 16 year old is an unaccompanied minor and would be automatically entered into our asylum process and would need to be by law order through our courts and not by Mayorkas, to be turned over to family services within 72 hours after his apprehension and automatically placed into our asylum process. If border patrol was too overwelmed to properly vet him, that is due to the GOP and congress. Stop being a puppet and actually do some research.instead of using your hate to come to a conclusion.

  27. By law every President who has unaccompanied minors being detained at the border, has 72 hours to transfer those minors out of CBP and to family services. Immigrants who have commited crimes like trafficking are transported away from the border to DOJ. Due to Trumps hardline poicies, remain in Mexico and Title 42, Mexico changed it's laws as to where we can deport immigrants back into Mexico. That requires transportation to other border towns. Due to the large amount of immigrants many are ttranported to our northern border CBP sites for processing. Legal asylum seekers are also transported to detentin centers or final dedination depending on cercumstances. This is the law and the process deal with it. Try using some critical thinking and bother to research a claim before being a puppet.

By 2019 Trumps policies doubled the number of people crossing the southern border to 977,000. He only saw a reduction for the first 9 months of 2020 due to covid, before it went back to a 20 year monthly high in October of 2020. The Right was using it to undermine legal asylum under 8 US code 1158. It also suspended 8 US code 1325; the misdemeanor that carries a civil penalty for crossing the border illegally. And 8 US code 1326; stiffer penalties for crossing the border after deportation That left out any legal penalty or deterrent for those crossing and stopped legal asylum, with few exceptions under title 42.
