@advrider9766 how about we use the word deficit. That fits the claim. Obama was handed a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit and left Trump a 666 billion dollar deficit. After Trump and Republicans spent like drunken socialist, what was the deficit in Trumps last budget? 2.8 trillion.
3
Lol yeah and a republican senate and republican president.

Obama last budget handed him a 666 billion dollar deficit and Trump grew it into a 2.8 trillion dollar deficit. Republicans under Trump spent like drunken socialist. Is trippling the deficit living within your means? Democrats pay for your spending.

National debt means nothing anyone can add context and come up with all type of false claims. You have to look at deficit you have to understand the governments fiscal year end and actually understand how government works. We know the deficits under Biden because they were in the negative when he took office. We know he left Obama with a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit for Obama. Obama reduced that deficit to 6667 billion in his last fiscal year budget. Trump doubled that 667 billion dollar deficit before covid, by the end of Trumps term the deficit was at 2.8 trillion. so to say the debt increased or had the biggest jump during Obama is missing a lot of context, as Obama had two terms and created about 8.6 trillion in debt compared to Trumps one term that tripled the deficit and left a 6.7 trillion in debt.

Trump and Republicans in the senate would have to also pass that spending as they did when they trippled the US deficit. Every president every year submts and passes a budget
1
@RJL612 Obama was handed a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit. Was handed a recession and two wars and added 8.6 trillion to the debt from mostly tax cuts in his TWO terms in office. Trump was given a 667 billion dollar deficit, and added 6.7 trillion in just ONE term. And he left the deficit at 2.8 trillion.
1
@bigk4755 Grant is confusing deficit with debt, and Trump did triple the deficit handed to him by Obama.
1
REALTRUTH2525 grant doesn't know the difbetween deficit and debt. Obama left Trump a 666 billion dollar deficit. Trump turned it into a 2.8 trillion dollar deficit
1
REALTRUTH2525 Yes Trump inherited as 667 billion dollar deficit that Obama cut in half after being handed a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit a Recession and two wars, without causing another recession for a record number of months. Trump asnd Republicans spent like drunken socialist and doubled that deficit BEFORE covid and then Trump double the deficit again to 2.8 trillion after covid spending that everyone said would cause high inflation, that the right also blamed on Biden.

Her husband makes a lot of money. It's not a hard concept to understand. Unless you are on the right and don't want to bother understanding what gets in the way of your feelings.
1
@LCE040490 and Trump and Republicans passed it into law.
1
@RJL612 Fun fact Obama was handed a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit. Was handed a recession and two wars and added 8.6 trillion to the debt from mostly tax cuts in his TWO terms in office. Trump was given a 667 billion dollar deficit, and added 6.7 trillion in just ONE term. And he left the deficit at 2.8 trillion.
1
@josemorrasge8100 The economy was slow it was not dismal. We also had a record number of years under Obama without an economic recession.
1
@dawnklein3158 And the Republican majority in the Senate and Trump had to pass it. And if a democrat was sitting in the WH and had republican majorities in the house and Senate your puppet masters would have you blaming the president.at the time, and you would never mention the speakers responsibility to spending. As you guys do every time.
1
Obama would have added about 8.6 trillion to the debt in his two terms. Trump added 6.7 trillion in his one term. With Obama being handed a much higher deficit and an economy that was in shambles by the previous administration under Bush, who held republican majorities in both houses for most of his two term
1
Why does the Right continue with these failed talking points and completely omit the fact that her wealth comes from her husband. What a stoopid analogy, trying to claim that half her income comes from her as if they have two separate bank accounts that all her money goes into and his goes into a separate account. Where are you getting this nonsense.
1
No that passing Obamacare so that Americans can see that it's not full of death panels.
1
Fact Republican majority in the Senate and Trump signed off on what Pelosi sent. And Republican Presidents always increase the deficit while under Democrat Presidents the deficit always is in decline.
1
That is how all budgets work even in the private sector, you spend it or your next year budget gets reduced.
1
and singed and passed into law by a Republican majority senate and a republican president. And if that demographic was switched your puppet masters would have you blaming the democrat president in office.
1
And under a Republican senate and republican president. Trump was left a 666 billion dollar deficit by Obama. And Trump left Biden a 2.8 trillion dollar deficit. That will add to our debt for decades. Those are facts.
