  3.  @megamus3  it's as secure as it has ever been. And considering republicans removed all title 8 penalties in our asylum laws by forcing title 42 to stay in place, that removes all legal deterrent to crossing the border.

  4.  @megamus3  as I might have stated in my comments the Right removed any legal deterrent by forcing title 42 to remain in place it also is inflating apprehension numbers as there are more repeat crossings as there is no legal deterrent because of the Right. Title 42 suspends all title 8 authority. No penalty for crossing the border while it's in place; 8 us code 1325 and 1326. All so that Republican's can undermine legal asylum; 8 us code 1158.
