Comments by "Scott Farner" (@scottfarner5100) on "Border Patrol "being told to stand down": NY GOP Rep says Biden needs to restore Trump's policies" video.
Trumps policy was violating US immigration law and caused this issue and it started about 6 months ago. Biden is following US immigration law and this is the result of correcting back to the law.

It was now Biden will fix Trumps disastrous policy.

@mrpickles3454 And still is better then Trump who needed handlers during his entire Presidency. Trump cant even pronounce words on a teleprompter that are spelled out phonetically.
1
@mrpickles3454 Yeah remember Donald wanted to "sacrifice for the furniture of our children" or when Iran was building "internet...intercontinental ballistic missiles". How about when he was talking about George Wythe in a speech and after reading the name, he spelled it out loud from his teleprompter "WITH", as it was written for him phonetically. You're correct he was quite ignorant and so are his supporters on immigration law.

@mrpickles3454 I'll take Biden over this any day. "In the wake of President Donald Trump’s renewed attacks on the U.S. intelligence community this week, senior intelligence briefers are breaking two years of silence to warn that the President is endangering American security with what they say is a stubborn disregard for their assessments. Citing multiple in-person episodes, these intelligence officials say Trump displays what one called “willful ignorance” when presented with analyses generated by America’s $81 billion-a-year intelligence services. The officials, who include analysts who prepare Trump’s briefs and the briefers themselves, describe futile attempts to keep his attention by using visual aids, confining some briefing points to two or three sentences, and repeating his name and title as frequently as possible. What is most troubling, say these officials and others in government and on Capitol Hill who have been briefed on the episodes, are Trump’s angry reactions when he is given information that contradicts positions he has taken or beliefs he holds. Two intelligence officers even reported that they have been warned to avoid giving the President intelligence assessments that contradict stances he has taken in public."

@mrpickles3454 No the only people who are un-American are those who claim other Americans are un-American.

chad why don't you tell me what you would do differently then what Biden is doing while still following US immigration law? And let's see who knows the law and who is stupid.

@GothamThe current situation will fix itself as it does every year. Where was the talk from the Right about treason, impeachment, or any of the bitching and moaning about the border in 2019 when Trump had border crossing numbers exceeding 100000 for 4 months during his surge? Where was the fake right wing outrage back in October of last year when thus surge began? The US had a 17 year decline in southern border apprehensions to the lowest point in 50 years prior to Trump and his policies.
1
@Gotham is your fu cking bias taking the time to call him out too.
1
@Gotham I just made a factual statement.
1
@Gotham Biden is simply following laws that Trump was violating. Title 42 is still in place so the talk about open borders is just a lie. The influx of unaccompanied is due to Trumps policies that violated Asylum laws. Asylum seekers crossing through check points is being reduced with title 42, but we still have legal obligations that Trump was violating. Anyone else caught crossing the border and not requesting asylum ate put into deportation proceedings, but Mexico recently passed a law so we can deport non Mexican citizens back into Mexico. That means we have to detain them until we can fly them home. I keep asking the same question that no one in the Right will answer. What should Biden do differently that is within US law?
1
@Gotham wall construction had no bearing on what's happening now and was not a realistic policy, nor are comments Biden made over a year ago claiming how his administration will be going back to following asylum laws and being welcoming to legal asylum seekers. Do you know any asylum laws or the protections they have under US law or international treaty? Do you know of the several federal court decisions that overturned Trumps immigration policies last year? Those policies that forced asylum seekers to wait in Mexico for their hearing. Leaving them exposed to cartels and traffickers. Then there is Trumps separation policy that violated US law and caused more parents to send children with coyotes or by themselves. That seems more of a rational response than digging up a comment from Biden from over a year ago and manipulating what he said because the Right is too low informed to understand the difference between asylum and illegal immigrant.
1
@Gotham No it was a rally call and rhetoric that was not fiscally responsible and did not take into effect actual concerns on immigration. I never saw a cost benefit analysis on construction of a border wall along the entire border. The remain in Mexico policy was a violation of US immigration law and international treaty for those seeking asylum from a creditable fear. We have a legal obligation to detain them here once that determination is made by an asylum agent. Trumps unilateral departure from laws that have reduced border crossings over the last 20 year's is what has caused this current problem.
1
@Gotham what piece of shit would separate children from parents as a deterrent to legal immigration and then blamed every one else for the policy he created while at the same time fighting to keep it in court. Then tried to sound sympathetic to the children. That would be Trump and his supporters.
1
@Gotham no one would have a legal obligation to except asylum in Honduras, that's not how that policy works. That country would have to have a treaty stipulating that they can provide a safe haven for the individual creditable fears. And those countries including Mexico do not, but Canada does if that helps.
1
@Gotham they have the legal right to come here and make the request and we have a legal obligation to follow that law. I know, when it comes to fear and hate for immigrants that the Right doesn't care about laws or the consequences of ignoring those laws. That's why we have laws so that one side doesn't use that hate and fear to drive a unilateral policy to pander to their own willful ignorance.
1
@Gotham irrelevant as neither can provide the safety. It seems the understanding of our asylum laws and treaties going back 50 year is beyond your comprehension.
1
The problem is the Right and their willful ignorance of immigration law or facts.
1
What order is that?
1
I will give $100.00 to anyone who has an alternate plan to fix this that is within US immigration law. She is actually asking Biden to abandon his policy, that would mean abandoning US immigration law to restart a policy that was in violation.
1
Get a clue.
1
Odd that this is the only source of that claim.
1
Maybe you should learn the law instead of making false claims and complaining.
1
It's not a policy it's the law what Trump was doing was a policy it violated the law.
1
As a daughter of an immigrant that came through the legal way, you would think you might know immigration law. You clearly do not.
