It was never secure. It was at a 20 year high under Trump after we had a 17 year decline in southern border crossings.

Because we had a 17 year decline in southern border crossing to the lowest point in 50 years prior to Trump and his policies. And in two years after his policies southern border crossings doubled to 977000 in 2019 a 20 year high. It only was reduced for the first 9 months of 2020 before returning to a 20 year monthly high in October of 2020 and it has remained there and increasing. Trumps policies violated immigration laws and continue to do so. Biden is following our immigration laws that are easy to find in the 1980 INA laws that the Right ignores and side steps.

I love how the Right believe immigration started in 2020. Obama had fewer apprehensions in his last 4 years then Trump had in his 4 years. Also apprehension numbers run from federal fiscal year and not calendar fiscal year just like the federal budget, so that 2021 number is at the very least 1/4 of Trumps days in office and would count as the entire year under his policies.

First is to rebuild what Trump dismantled. Abd some 9f Trumps policies are still having a negative effect on immigration. It was decreasing before Trump messed it up.

Yeah Trump did that and it violated US immigration law and international treaty that are over 40 years old. They were over turned in federal court. He criminalized legal asylum and separated their children and now we are bein sued for some "$450k", that the Right are screaming at Biden about. The Right needs to learn the law instead of violating it.
