If you are working and living in this country legally as an immigrant and paying taxes you should have the benefit of the taxes you pay. She was talking about green card and visa holders not illegal migrants.

And the actual name of the green card is permanent resident card and does not signify a person being an illegal. Take the 10 seconds to look it up.

The issue is about those who are here legally living, working, and paying taxes. If they contribute to our federal and state revenues then they should get something back. And remember this is not about free money this is about stimulating local economies that are suffering due to loss in revenue.

Then her next statement was that undocumented immigrants were not getting any help from the government. Speaking about both legal and illegal. She at no time asked about money for illegals. We have many American citizens married to green card legal immigrants who file taxes together and neither are allowed a stimulus. Trump only answered about illegals and didn't respond about legal immigrant residents. Remember how the right wing was so concerned with context of a statement with suggesting injecting disinfectants, context goes both ways.

Even illegals pay payroll, sales, and property taxes and they don't benefit from much of it. And the taxes they pay not only breaks about even with what they cost, we wouldn't be able to fund social security without them.

The title is just misleading and his supporters are kind of ignorant of the question. I read that there is already a law suit filed for discrimination from citizens married to legal immigrants that were denied a stimulus.
