  5. The stimulus was not about healthcare it was an economic stimulus. She had already passed House health bills prior to last week. The stimulus was held up to make sure money went to workers first and not used for stock buybacks and executive bonuses, the Treasury secretary meaning the Presidents administration was against including it until Dems refused to vote on the Senate bill to have it included. Trump dismissed that restriction when signing the bill. The hold out also increased money for Americans out of work. Working with the President doesn't mean giving into every Republican demand, it mean a bipartisan negotiation to build legislation that everyone gets something and everyone gets something they hate about it.

  10.  @Stephaniej89  BS she didn't hold up anything. She had her own bill in the House with funding for the Center that Trump even supported. The Senate Democrats held it up because Mitch and the White House refused to put in restrictions in the use of corporate funding for stock buybacks and executive bonuses. The Republicans had reporting standards that made it 6 months before any one would know what they used the money on. And the Democrats did not want the White House deciding who got finding and who did not. Mitch stopped negotiations and put up a vote knowing he didn't have the votes. After three days of negotiations Dems got the restrictions on corporations and a lot more money for American workers and hospitals and the bill passed the Senate. After a 24 hour review it passed the House with no additional add on. Then it went to Trump to sign the same day and he added a statement to the bill refusing to except the corporate restrictions.   16.  @cindyturner3803  the Chinese didn't report until December 31st. Trumps travel ban to China started January 31st and didn't take effect until February 2nd. It was only for foreign nationals and did not include Hong Kong. The airlines finally canceled all flights. You don't know what you are talking about. Do 30 seconds of research out side you fake new bubble.

  22.  @cindyturner3803  the link from Fox Business news explains some. The money came from part of what went to the National Endowment. They already have a mechanism for funding through Congress. So they got a separate section in the bill with restrictions and reporting standards required. They also just laid off 100 workers after Trump signed the bill that did not qualify the standards in the stimulus.

There was no defeat as he was never part of the process and she was never in the process of the Senate negotiations. But her bill did help as a tool to get negotiations and to get a better bill. The House was done with impeachment in mid December. China reported it at the end of December and Trump put in a limited ban on February 2. That was for only foreign nationals from China a d didn't include Hong Kong. The airlines later canceled all flights.

  32. Kennedy center has employees and operating cost too and no one is buying tickets. Why don't you read the many articles explaining this and the bipartisan support it got. Extensions of renewable energy tax credits help keep those businesses to pay operating expenses and their employees. You notice there is no negative right wing narrative building concerned with cruise lines, airlines or other corporation getting funding.

  34.  @vichernandez8975  Fuel standards and tax credits were in the House bill that never went up for a vote and I'm unaware that they made it into the final Senate bill. The house bill also included many piece of legislation past by the House previously and have not got passed Mitch McConnell's desk like postal debt.

My assumption is that these were separate from the corporate and small business stimulus as they already have a mechanism for funding through congress and they had special restrictions and reporting as to where the money was being used.   36. Impeachment happened in the House mid December. China announced to WHO at the end of December. Trump only banned foreign nationals from China on January 31st and went into effect February 2nd. There still were limited addictions and not a total ban. The airlines start canceling the flights.

The funding was split away from funding for the National Endowment of arts in the package. The funding has the same restrictions and reporting requirements that Dems included for corporations. The funding was separate in the bill from corporate funding as Congress already has a mechanism for funding the Center. The funding is due to lack of ticket sales due to the virus. The Kennedy Center just laid off one hundred of the Symphony Orchestra as they did not meet the requirement. The reason your media has focused on this and not other funding is to build a false narrative. Why no concern for cruise line funding that have headquartered over seas to taxes? Why no concern for airline funding that spend most of their cash flow on stock buybacks for executive bonuses?
