By 2019 Trumps policies doubled the number of people crossing the southern border to 977,000. He only saw a reduction for the first 9 months of 2020 due to covid, before it went back to a 20 year monthly high in October of 2020. Title 42 removed the ability to request that including at chech points. First Trump began by snatching children away from asylum seekers, and that violated our laws. Then he forced those seeking our protections to wait in Mexico in the hands of cartels and traffickers. Then they stopped immigration for 3 years under the misuse of title 42. All forcing more to cross between checkpoints. In the Rights arrogance they created the problem they were trying to fix. Educate yourself, I guarantee you don't know anything about immigration law and the process or what tye GOP is doing that cause it.
