Can somebody please explain why defacing paintings etc is a protest? Why? Im not seeing the connection. These are out of control teenagers

The problem is that most people dont think of the future only the present and whether they will have blackouts etc. Creature comforts. Sickening to be honest. Protestors are irritating people so what?
