  9. SDav21 Wow! Driving my Peugeot 307 tonight and noticed when the engine was off and I knocked the stalk that the wipers parked at the fully open position and I wondered why. Now I know!

  10. The refinement is awful. Sounds like a jet when driving along due to the tyre roar and the engine is really vocal when accelerating.

  11. Magic Vision Control isn't new. It's been on the SL for a few years. Also means expensive replacement wiper blades as you can only get them from Mercedes!

  15. This is really nice. I hate touch sensitive climate buttons and they belong in the bin, the only saving grace in this is they are separate from the touchscreen. The interior is really nicely thought out though and decent looking.

  17.  @masterxyr  totally agree with you. I've had two GS300's and the ABS pump went in one giving me total brake failure coming off the motorway. A new pump was worth more than the car itself so I ended up scrapping it. I've always wanted an LS430 but the price of repairs if they do break down can be astronomical. That's why so many of these huge, complicated cars end up scrapped when they age, they're beyond economical repair.

  19. I'm a bit disappointed with the new 3. The concept was much better looking and the front has hardly changed. Still a good looking car. The new Corolla is a much better looking car than any Toyota hatch before, but it's not good looking from the back in my opinion.

  20. I'd have this over the Enyaq and iD3 however the touch sensitive sliders are a deal breaker for me. I have a top spec Kona Electric 64KW and I think it's a better car overall. I get 300 miles from a charge and it comes with more kit than this car.

  23. This is just so out of date now. They can change the bumpers and lights as often as they want, doesn't change it being way out of line compared with the current rivals.

  24.  @Horizon301.  I have a lot more experience in both than you, someone who hasn't owned either. The iDrive in the MINI is IDENTICAL to the system in BMW's of the same age. The only difference being the graphics.

  27.  @adamcurtis83  I have an SUV being delivered next month. I need it as I have a chronic back disease. Getting in and out of a 'normal' height car is painful and difficult. Sometimes SUV's are the best solution for disabled people.

  30. You can't say it's unreliable - it's a completely new model and as such there are no reliability issues reported so far. If you read Auto Express Driver Power you'd know that. Perhaps you shouldn't comment if you can't back up your claims with actual facts. Matt you're the best car reviewer on YouTube for UK residents. Keep up the excellent work!

  43.  @Alex-hv3ir  "aerodynamics" "design" and "cost" are most probably the cited reasons. I wouldn't buy a hatchback without a rear wiper, I'm fanatical about keeping my windows clean.

  44. The Arona is the best car there. I was going to order one, but issues with the supply of the DSG and alcantara meant lead times were 4+ months. I've just ordered a top spec Ateca instead.
