Let's stop pretending a quick release back rest is best. Most people only need to make finite adjustment and having a quick release design not only makes it harder to get the perfect seating position, doing it on the move is more dangerous than just turning a dial.

@biafo4541 in general I agree with you. I however have degenerative osteoarthritis throughout my spine so I have to adjust my seat regularly. Being able to make very small adjustments whilst at traffic lights etc makes it much easier for me. With a lever I end up having to put my weight though my spine whilst I hold it in place whilat I find the right ajdustment. This is very painful for someone with my disease.
