  1. I live in the UK and have an all singing all dancing dishwasher that auto doses liquid gel into the wash. It can even reorder gel from Amazon by itself when it runs low. However, gel doesn't clean as well as powder and my machine doesn't have a compartment for tablets. Instead it has a little tray that sits under the top rack. Therefore nearly all of the detergent is washed away in the first rinse. It still provides a better clean than gel despite this though.
