  1. The wealth management programs seem like a scam to me. They promised returns at which a bank should be willing to give loans. If they dont want to an ordinary person probably shouldnt lend them money either

  2. If looked from a capitalist/free market standpoint the Chinese government decisions don't make sense. First let real estate get in a unsustainable bubble, then immediatly put in new rules that many real estate companies cant fulfill, making them fail. You cant do proper business in a market where the government makes such drastic changes seemingly random.

  3. Imagine if you could export real estate - might have been the solution to the housing crisis in some western countries and would also help China
