The richest people dont have that type of income that gets taxed for social security anyways. They just get capitals gains tax, and even then often avoid paying that

It's been going down for a while but now has reached the point where working a lot is not even enough to cover the basic necessities for many, and people also learned that just working hard won't mean earning more

Not true. It was about the inequality growing too big that caused revolutions. For most of history, there was little to none opportunities to rise up the social ladder. The idea that anyone could do that got popular with the french revolution but is still quite new in human history

@BrianMoore-uk6js unfortunately that wouldnt work. their wealth only exists in the current system of billionaires owning big companies. Liquidation of their assets would require selling their assets but who would be the buyer if there are no more multi billionaires?
