  1. ​ @singleboost please no. Rent and lease implies there's a definite end time. Don't give companies the idea that the right to use gets automatically revoked after a certain time and you have to buy it again to still use it.

  4. It's made niche artificially. It used to be that you could easily repair products but companies eventually pushed out the idea that that should be possible from customers

  5. ​ @stamzthehuman897  problem is that many see getting a new product as much a positive that not being able to repair one they already owned a bit justifies getting a new one instead of being mad it can't be fixed
