  1. Even if all offsets were backed by actually preventing a forest from getting cut down, you'll still add co2 to the atmosphere, ideally you just prevent it from getting double. Realistically they'll just cut a different forest down

  2.  @golemgoats  I'm aware but even if it was, your CO2 emissions wouldn't magically disappear. I'm saying that not only they aren't delivering what they promised, what they promise doesn't actually solve the problem even if fully implemented

  3. ​ @golemgoats  I'm aware of that. My point is that even if they delivered what they promised there still would be a net increase in co2 emissions, so even in the best case scenario it's bad. Given that they don't actually delivery it's even worse
