  1. As far as I know they buy it outside their country to have a safe heaven in case they fall under scrutiny in China. Like, you can be a billionaire in China but if you do something that the CCP doesn't like your money assets in China will be frozen, so it's good to have some outside

  6. Comparing corruption in China with countries like USA when in the USA you can sue in these scenarios, usually in the case of a class action lawsuit, so the cost for the individuals isn't even that high

  7. Or just open up the possibility to sue and ability to get back fundings that were taken out the company when it was clearly hurting it. Preselling is a thing in my country but never have I heard of people not getting delivered
