Many CEOs don't have the knowledge to create the company's product themselves but I get what you mean

@TobiasStarling I think she initially tried to get investors who had knowledge in the field of blood testing but they all turned it down

That's not necessarily true. It's not rare that a company could make an improvement but doing so would throw out previous investments in production capacities/require getting employees to learn the new way etc, and then it's often a new company which breaks this cycle. For example traditional car makers were very reluctant to go big scale on electric cars because all the factories weren't made to produce that and they have high optimization in gas/diesel engines but would need to start from scratch with electric cars. Only when Tesla came around and actually made a lot of electric cars was when they actually started to care about it

Present herself as a sympathetic person? I mean she must have been able to do that in the past to succeed but she always appeared so unnatural to me
