  1. Hypebeast is "affordable" to the average person (not saying it's reasonable to buy), while the trends in the videos couldn't be uphold by non rich people. But yeah, in a way it shows a "problem": we've gotten so advanced that good looking clothes can be bought by anyone so people who want to set themselves apart with something more flashy tend to be more ridiculous looking. Also a trend observable with restaurants where some upscale restaurants are now serving food that in the past the poor ate regularly but was considered waste
