  4.  @caddylover10  The fact that you tried to prove your point by pointing out that the head of state of Germany is representitive shows how ignorant you are. Germany has a chancellor who's the head of the federal government and does have executive power. Besides, the USA is just as federal as Germany, if not more so. The individual states can make own laws in many areas and legalize or outlaw a lot. You can see that by a how much laws differ from state to state. That wouldn't be possible without federalism. And in the end it doesn't even matter how the country is organized politically, as long as constitution and law protect, they protect. Even the US constitution can be changed (and has been changed 27 times so far, even with amendments that restrict the rights of people) and theoretically all rights could be taken away if the changes get ratified.
