  1. I assume having biodegradable replacements for plastic could cause some behavioral changes in little day to day activities given you could end up it accidentally starting to compose like spoiled food

  2. I'm always wondering if in a world with plastic eating whatever if we'd end up with them starting to eat plastic that's not thrown away, like a termite infestation but instead with wood it's plastic

  3. Having enzymes and whatnot seems to be the most "natural" solution if you look at evolution. I'm thinking of for example back when wood plants first became a thing but nothing being able to break down wood and it just piling up at "waste". Seems to also be the only way to get plastic out of pretty much every where it doesn't belong
