  9. There's no middle way. Russia took Crimea before, still attacked Ukraine. A peace settlement will just give Russia an opportunity to better prepare for another future attack.

  15. Are you saying violence and oppression is the only way to keep Russia together? That's a very weak argument and I doubt it's true. Just few years ago Russia was much relaxed on criticism and still could be if Putin didn't decide to attack Ukraine. Now he can't let it surface that that was a mistake and crack down on criticism
