@cccc2740 They haven't broken laws but abiding laws isn't the same as being moral, especially because rich people often lobby for law changes allowing mistreatment

I can generally agree but why target monarchs in particular? They don't really have any influence anyways and afaik their wealth isn't growing significantly nowadays either

Innovation in capitalism comes from competition, the more concentrated the market gets into few corporations the less incentive there is to be creative. And actually, lots of technical advancement comes from government funded research that can't be made profitable in a time range a company cares about but eventually leads to practical solutions

You have no idea how many transactions are necessary to finalize a product. You're essentially adding thousands of percent of sales tax on everything. With what effect? These taxes will just be paid by the customer, not the rich people

Bad idea imo. Then they'll just spread their wealth over family members. If you want to think of a successful solution you have to think about how easy it would be to get around it

The prices of goods within a country is usually very similar but very different between countries so wealth inequality between countries isn't necessarily as problematic. For example, someone might have the same living standard at a fraction of the income of another person in another country

You don't only need to get a majority united to object to the current system but also to decide on what changes to be made and that's the part that's usually preventing it. There's a reason ethylene after government get overthrown the situation usually only becomes more unstable

Money absolutely gives you more time in the day. Just think of how many things you can delegate to others, freeing up your day. No need to cook, clean, arrange appointments, etc. Only do the things you like to do. And with less stress it increases your mental capacity
