I was particularly fond of the stage of the excuse onion when one of thein charge cops said in effect "well we did not attack because he had already shot at some of us" - just straight up admitting that at least dozens of cops who were there for long enoughto understand the situation did not want to risk their lives for two classrooms worth of children, who unlike them had no guns, ballistic shields, body armour, or training. and the fact that they tried to claim that they assumed everyone inside was already dead was absurd even before they got 911 calls from kids inside the room - because they know very well that when an unprofessional gunman as svhool shooters tend to be attacks a group of people, it's almost certain that many of those wounds will take quite a long time to be fatal. they 100% knew that there were dying kids inside.
