4:18 "you're missing an opportunity to shut up" is a hilarious thing for a president to say though xD

this is fake news, they aren't real scandals by german standards either. it's an establishment media hit job. the rival CDU/CSU has collected several corruption scandals in just the pandemic that each are way more important than the "green scandals". but of course those are still nothing compared to trump's emoluments and such.

"the far right SPD" lol

this is fake news. the green scandals are a joke, the real scandal are the several recent and many more historic corruption cases in the CDU/CSU. there is absolutely no comparison in magnitude between them. literally none of the green "scandals" has any relevance.

you mean the transition from france being quite actively bizarrely aligned with russia against practically all its allies in libya to libya settling down but various (former) french colonies having russia-friendly coups?

europe needs an army and all that. we should have continued the occupation of afghanistan without the americans. leaving afghanistan was an inexcusable betrayal and a strategic mistake for europe. it's an america first policy that only works for the americans because they're far away from any refugee routes out of afghanistan. now we're talking about keeping afghan refugees "in the region" and in pakistan - do the people proposing this even know what the taliban are? the taliban (the name means "students") are a movement that was formed during the soviet occupation of afghanistan by afghan refugees in islamic schools in pakistan funded by saudi arabia. ever since the afghan taliban gained political power, pakistan has been their greatest ally, and now we want to give pakistan money to house more afghan refugees???

sounds too good to ever be elected.

macron is an opportunistic (right wing) extremist whenever he sees it as useful to either solidify his power or enrich the rich. other than that, I think he doesn't really have ideological convictions and believes the world to have been good in the recent past, so his ambition for his legacy is to be known as a leader who didn't ruin everything. sort of like merkel but masculineband cool to compensate for his height, except merkel diverged and genuinely took a humanitarian stand against her own party by letting in a million ref°°ees around 2015, which ruined her legacy for most who would have otherwise liked her, which macron took as a very specific lesson to persue policies decidedly unfriendly towards ref°°ees and towards m°slims. he's conservative, but flexible. he does however seemingly by personal character tend to experiment with moving towards a police state, since his belief in the status quo of governance and his upper class background give him a lot of faith in the benefit and very little familiarity with the downside of police authority (he's always been on the side of society towards whom cops are polite because they expect them to have money for big lawyers and potentially know politicians or judicial officials).
