other nefarious idea: it's an emigration port. currently, there is no way for g°z°ns to leave without gaining permission to cross into either of the two neighbouring countries, which could hypothetically be used for an attempt to stay there along the lines of an asylum request, which could at least cause annoying paperwork. with a port in the strip, residents could be shipped off to any country with a sea port without ever crossing into egyptian or i-country jurisdiction, allowing both countries to pretend to be unaware&uninvolved esq..

I wasn't old enough zo pay attention to news in 2001 and 2003, and barely started by the 2011 NATO no-libya-zone, but I feel very concerned about how what I've heard of western media pushing the iraq war and such matches the current dominant western media messaging that amounts to "we're striking to deter escalation". UK, USA and i-country have now conducted air, drone and missile strikes amongvarious other locations in the capitals of lebanon, syria, iraq, and yemen. and the western media report "growing fears of escalation". HELLO, THIS IS THE ESCALATION!

hmm I think I'm starting to see the logic behind "not negotiating with terrorists" 🤔

what has changed to cause that guy to tweet that is not an acute increase in false accusations to silence criticism, nor has he just developed a sensitivity for it. the change that has occurred is that is°°el is now moving past that guy's personal comfort zone and starting do things he sees as warranting criticism. he wants voices he disagrees with suppressed by slander, but not voices he agrees with.

no. "intelligence failure" was the phrase planted by exactly those who allegedly failed. the real question that this misdirection was intended to avoid, which everyone on theground, civilian and attacker alike, were asking was: "where is the army?". the true story is not that this was accidental or negligent. it's that the defenses were, by now proven, deliberately and very unusually ordered to be lowered, and the counterattack delayed by an absurd 5 hours. it was not coincidence, it was not incompetence ("intelligence failure"), it was treason. they knew when the enemy would come, and they opened the gates.

western media every day now: "i-country/US conduct air strikes on countries x, y, and z, raising fears of escalation and regional expansion of the war" and by escalation of course they mean an enemy response that inflicts even a tenth of the damage they've suffered back on i-country or even on one of america's many military bases, including those constituting illegal occupation and acts of war in syria.
