  1. the mention of arnold schwarzenegger mages me wonder to what degree it's possible to, after moving from one country to another that does not speak your first language at all, simultaneously forget your first language but also keep a distinctly foreign accent in your new language. I suppose it's just a matter of having low language learning ability or never making enough of an effort to perfect anything.
