9:38 what could be done much more effectively than that very badly demonstrated tape trick that nobody is going to want to use just in case they get robbed today is for watchmakers to design unusual and difficult to open buckles, or buckle locks. what could be relatively reasonable is a buckle lock that doesn't require a key or code to open, but does have a delay of 5 minutes or so.

@touchofgrey5372 it does matter what it's made of, and though it is possible, replacing it with a replica would both lower the value and cost a good bit of money to do properly.
