11:39 why don't secular palestinians and supporters of palestine realise that stonewalling against calls to condemn hamas' recent massacre is highly counterproductive? use all the qualifiers you want - you can say that you see hamas as having some legitimacy in its aemed resistance, or that you would not condemn hamas if it had only attacked the israeli military. but for actions as depraved and indefensible as these, you MUST find some variant of condemnation, otherwise you discredit yourself!

she did not defend the attack at all, she just stonewalled against the prompt to condemn it. which is also dumb, but not the same thing. it's an old automatic response that a lot of people have failed to adjust to the unique situation.

@billn911 there is no video of israel doing what hamas did a week and a half ago, but there is older history of them doing the same thing during the 1948 nakba (the ethnic cleansing of pleatinians was driven by massacres that only differed from this one in no hostages being taken), and inviting their christian fascist phalange allies to do the same thing in the palestinian refugee camps sabra and shatila in 1982 during the lebanese civil war, while israel guarded the camps' fences to prevent escapes, illuminated the night with flares, and watched for two days from guard towers as the phalange did nothing bot r°°e, t°°ture, mu°°late and m°°der, killing around 3000. israel also shot and killed thousands of palestinian unarmed civilians on sight as they attempted to return through the new israeli border to their hometowns in the first decade after they were displaced.
